Fitness Zone offers more exercise programmes

AS A fitness centre that offers a wide range of fitness classes in the country, Fitness Zone has added another fitness regime to its many programmes.

On Wednesday evening, Fitness Zone, licensed with Les Mills group fitness programmes for over 10 years since it opened its door, introduced more of the world’s famous programmes to Bruneians.

Les Mills International is a New Zealand company that is the world’s largest provider of choreographed exercise-to-music group fitness classes.

To further promote Les Mills, Fitness Zone is inviting the public at its Kiulap branch this week to encourage all to give their health a boost.

There are estimated to be more than 1,500 participants taking part in this one-week group exercise launching. Les Mills group fitness programmes change the lives of millions of people in 15,000 clubs with around 100,000 certified instructors across 100 countries. Their mission is to create a fitter planet, one workout at a time.

Wu Chun share excitedly, “With Les Mills, you’re not just exercising, you’re joining in on something bigger than yourself. Gain the energy of ‘the group effect’ as our certified instructors guides you through a motivating workout set to amazing chart-topping music. You’ll unleash yourself, fall in love with fitness, and it will change your life. You’ll sweat and you’ll shout, and tomorrow you’ll come back and do it all again.”

Grit Strength programme is finally incorporated into Fitness Zone’s group fitness schedule starting January 2014 (four times a week) to offer Fitness Zone members the opportunity to experience a 30-minute high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that will take members in to overdrive to go hard, push harder and get them fitter superfast. According to Rachael, the fitness manager, “The short sharp demanding exercises combine weightlifting, running and plyometrics for a full-body workout that increases aerobic capacity, strength, muscular endurance, metabolism and power.”

Les Mills group fitness programmes releases new music, new choreography and new creative moves for each of their programme every quarter of the year. Fitness Zone is currently launching all of its nine programmes this January for the members to experience their favourite Les Mills programme at its best.

The final launch will be held on January 13 with Body Attack by Fitness Zone’s certified instructors, Emily and Raquel, at the Serusop branch at 6.35pm.
