THE season finale of the KFC Fitness Zone 3-on-3 Streetball Challenge will take place at The Airport Mall from November 29 until December 8.

Four categories are opened for registration and the fees are as follow: Male Open ($200), Male Under 21 Open ($160), Male Under 18 Interschool ($60) and Female Open ($60). Registration forms are available at KFC Gadong Central and Fitness Zone Kiulap. Completed forms must be submitted by November 25.

In addition, all participants must have their own uniforms bearing their team or school name in order to join the tournament. Basketball fans, especially Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) enthusiasts, should not miss out on the last day of the tournament as some of PBA’s Legends will be holding a press conference at 10.30am at The Airport Mall.

PBA Legends are retired association players that travel around the world to participate in exhibition matches as well as to promote basketball.

Leading the PBA Legends will be Vince “The Prince” Hizon, a previous shooting forward for Ginebra San Miguel who will be making a second appearance in Brunei. Vince’s previous visit to Brunei was back in March as part of The KFC Fitness Zone 3 On 3 Streetball Challenge’s Season 1, 2013’s opening.

Other PBA legends include Noli “The Tank” Locsin, previously a power forward for Ginebra San Miguel, Kenneth “Captain Barbell” Duremdes, previously a shooting forward for Alaska Aces, David “The Flash” Bal Jr, previously point guard for Ginebra San Miguel and Marlou “The Skyscraper” Aquino who previously played as centre for Ginebra San Miguel. Accompanying the PBA Legends to Brunei is also Patricia Hizon, a professional sports commentator, who is also the spouse of Vince Hizon.

The PBA Legends are scheduled for an exhibition game with the Brunei’s National Basketball Team later at 8.30pm, at the Multi Purpose Hall in which KFC’s very own, Erwin Velez , a retired PBA player, will also be participating.

Apart from the basketball tournament and stars, the public can expect the 10-day event to be filled with various activities such as a reptile show, the Cars & Curious, Kingston Ice Cream Eating competition, and the Three Point Shootout to name a few.
