FITNESS Zone was recently designated by the Century International Quality ERA (CQE) Committee to receive the CQE Award in the Gold category in Geneva.

The decision was made on the basis of a voting process carried out among all participating previous awardees, in accordance to the CQE regulations and the criteria of the QC100 Total Quality Management Model by Business Initiative Directions (BID), the leading private organisation awarding companies worldwide.

“We are really thankful to the BID for their effort in recognising and encouraging entrepreneurs like us. This is Fitness Zone’s second international award (the first being the Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2008 Award at the inaugural Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards) and we will continue to put our passion forward and do our best for the community,” said Fitness Zone Managing Director Wu Chun of the award.

“For us in the fitness industry, the biggest challenge has been to include more fun in workouts, compared to traditional sports activities in the past… (After) 10 years in the business, the belief we have for our services and products is greater than ever. I would like to thank our members for their support, patience and encouragement, and most importantly, I would also like to thank my staff who raised the bar and keep up with the pace of the company’s vision,” added Chun.

BID holds an annual congress with meetings at multiple sites, in iconic cities such as Paris, London, Madrid, Geneva, Frankfurt and New York, having gathered companies and organisations from 118 countries over the past ten months. During that time, participating leaders and experts in quality and excellence submitted their votes for the candidacy of Fitness Zone for the Century International Quality ERA (CQE) Award which will be presented in Geneva, Switzerland.
