EDDIE Chan, a fitness instructor at Fitness Zone, brought glory to the health club by taking home the first place trophy in the Light Heavyweight category of the recent “Mr Sarawak Bodybuilding Championship 2013” in Sarawak.

Chan explained that to prepare for the competition, he had to adhere to a strict diet.

“My preparation included 12 weeks of diet: a ‘semi-diet’ for the first eight weeks where I cut down my intake of sodium, sugar and oil, but maintained my carbohydrate intake; and a strict diet in the final four weeks where I did not eat any carbohydrates.”

Chan also attributed part of his success to Fitness Zone.

“Fitness Zone is fully equipped, it has a friendly environment and the staff are very helpful.”

He also extended his thanks to Fitness Zone’s Managing Director Wu Chun, as well as the staff of Fitness Zone who have supported him.

Meanwhile, Wu Chun also congratulated Chan on his recent success and commended the fitness instructor’s determination and passion.

“For his training, everyone in Fitness Zone came together to assist him in preparing for the competition, especially the nutritionists for his diets,” said Chun.

Chan had previously competed in 12 body-building competitions and he will be competing in the upcoming Mr Malaysia competition in Penang, Malaysia, from June 14 to 16. Chan will be vying for a podium finish during the competition, where he will compete against other body-builders from all 13 Malaysian states.

Aw, this was a very good post. Taking the time and actual effort to make a very
    good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a
lot and don’t seem to get anything done.
