Wu Chun hopes his book will inspire people

LOCAL-born star Wu Chun will be launching his first book within this year that will detail his personal experience and inspiration that has helped him to overcome challenges in his life.

Taking time off from his busy schedule in the Asian entertainment industry, Wu Chun is in Brunei to complete his book in time for its launch.

The star of “Saving General Yang” revealed details of his new book which, will be in Chinese and published in Taiwan at a luncheon hosted by Choi Byung Koo, the Korean Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam.

“I have already finished writing the book and now I am refining the book. I like to read books about inspiring stories of various entertainers. I hope that my book can also inspire others,” he said.

Published in Chinese, Wu Chun hoped that it will be translated into English to attract a wider audience, including people in Brunei. He hopes that Bruneians will support the book when it is released in the later half of the year.

He also revealed, “I am currently reading a movie script. However (the movie) has yet to be confirmed.”

Appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Republic of Korea since late last year, Wu Chun will be heading to Korea soon for an exchange programme.

He said, “I will be in Korea to familiarise myself with the Korean culture and also if there is opportunity, I will also introduce Brunei Darussalam (to Koreans).”

Commenting on the lunch, he said “I love the food. It was the most delicious lunch and cannot compare with other Korean restaurants in the country.”

The special menu and food of the luncheon was delicately prepared by the wife of the Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam, Madam Kim Kyung Soo.
